I like to be active. Whether it's playing soccer with co-workers or getting a workout in. I enjoy going out. If it's during the day it will usually be to the beach or stay in and take care of some errands, but at night I enjoy going to a bar or club. I don't go out EVERY weekend and the days I feel like staying in I enjoy watching TV.

I have a warm nature and zany personality and people tend to like me. It's not hard to make me smile and I feel that laughter is always the best medicine. If they don't, at least I have found a new friend in you. Please, no young or small children. Itâ??s fine if they are about to leave the nest, or living at home while going to college. Young children are not conducive to my life style. I have raised other peopleâ??s children plus my own in the last chapter of my life. I'm working a lot, but I'm also playing a lot. I live on California's beautiful Central Coast, but I hardly ever get to get out and see it. I'm a fun guy who always likes to have more friends.

Let's see, I was born and raised in Santa Maria, CA. One of the only distinctive aspects of my lifestyle is that I'm a vegetarian (not a PETA freak though), and I enjoy cooking vegetarian/vegan food.

Most of my old friends have moved away in recent years, and I suppose I've been too busy to spend much time meeting new people. I spent the fourth of July weekend camping out in the Black Rock Desert with about a thousand people and had a blast - I'd almost forgotten how nice it can be to meet interesting and like-minded people. I figure maybe it's time to meet people a little closer to home.

Activity-wise, I enjoy scuba diving and I try to make at least one 3 or 4 day trip out to the Channel Islands each year. I've got a paraglider but I've only made one flight with it in the last couple of years. I'm going to have to make an effort to get it out more often.

I love camping in the desert (mostly the Mojave), and now I've finally got a 4WD vehicle that can handle a little off-roading. Just a stock Pathfinder, but it does OK out in the desert or on the dunes at Pismo.

Besides that I just enjoy watching the games, especially when I'm in the regular season weekly pool at work. Hello out there. Where to begin? In brief, I like reading, outdoor activities, nerd activities, the occasional club or really any activity. I am a country boy as well having been raised on a farm. Agriculture has a place in my heart even though I live in a city now. Hiking, camping and even gardening (if I had a garden) all provide me with the opportunity to experience nature.

Who am I looking for?
Somebody who has his own life and goals, who is willing to make time in his life for me, but not just stop his life for me. Does that make sense? Yes I'm a girl, so I want to feel important (pretty standard) but I don't like anybody to wrap their life around me... seems unatural.

I Love to read! I am involved in the SCA a medieval re-enactment group. I am the leader of an amazing household, though I suppose I'm mostly just a figurehead and/or human shield. I love to work with my hands doing pretty much anything. I like camping, Disneyland, coffee, a wide variety of music, and when I have time, martial arts. I have lots of hobbies, Which I hope to have time for now that I'm out of school. I still have one class left to graduate, but it's not being offered til next February. I can't wait to be done!
