I like to be active. Whether it's playing soccer with co-workers or getting a workout in. I enjoy going out. If it's during the day it will usually be to the beach or stay in and take care of some errands, but at night I enjoy going to a bar or club. I don't go out EVERY weekend and the days I feel like staying in I enjoy watching TV.

If they don't, at least I have found a new friend in you. Please, no young or small children. Itâ??s fine if they are about to leave the nest, or living at home while going to college. Young children are not conducive to my life style. I have raised other peopleâ??s children plus my own in the last chapter of my life. I'm working a lot, but I'm also playing a lot. I live on California's beautiful Central Coast, but I hardly ever get to get out and see it. I'm a fun guy who always likes to have more friends.

Let's see, I was born and raised in Santa Maria, CA. Truthfully, it's a terrible place to grow up (you know, with the high percentage of teen pregnancies and absurd potential of becoming a meth addict). I'm a highly indecisive person, I think. Maybe I'm overly cautious or just too stupid to make a decision; they're both the same to me. At least I'm sure that I love music (quite an elitist, actually; check out my last.fm). As far as musical instruments go, I can play the piano and bass.

One of the only distinctive aspects of my lifestyle is that I'm a vegetarian (not a PETA freak though), and I enjoy cooking vegetarian/vegan food.

Hello out there. Where to begin? In brief, I like reading, outdoor activities, nerd activities, the occasional club or really any activity. I'm 28 and still feel like I'm 22. I'm a college graduate and love living on the Central Coast of California. I tend to have an extremely wicked and twisted sense of humor, and can't stand people who just don't get it. I'm opinionated, and while I may claim to be non-judgmental, I'm probably just not telling you exactly what I think until I get to know you better.

I could try to write some impressive piece of crap here that makes me seem wonderful, but I'm not even sure how best to market myself like some blue ribbon cow.

I'm a real girl with plenty to offer, and although I'm an optimist, I'm also a realist. My life is not sad and empty without somebody, and I don't fantasize that it wil be all roses and cream pies with somebody.

A friend once said that I am analogous to a peanut butter and banana sandwich. Something that is pretty great, but somewhat unconventional. Enough so that the less adventurous person might just pass, and never know what they were missing. I probably should not have included this analogy, since I have never thought bananas and peanut butter should be on bread.

I enjoy the same things that everyone else does I assume, like good conversation and laughing... does anybody really object to those things?
I like to travel and be outdoors, I don't mind getting dirty or lost. I like to do my own home improvements... like installing a faucet or refinishing furniture. Maybe that's a little atypical for a girl.
If you have bothered to read this far I appreciate it. Thank you for not just looking at my pictures, noticing that I'm not a supermodel, and moving on.

I do of course, understand the appeal of models, so I'm not judging you if that's what you're looking for.

Who am I looking for?
Somebody who has his own life and goals, who is willing to make time in his life for me, but not just stop his life for me. Does that make sense? Yes I'm a girl, so I want to feel important (pretty standard) but I don't like anybody to wrap their life around me... seems unatural.

I'd like to have somebody who would encourage me to do more adventurous things. I actually enjoy being goaded into pushing my comfort envelope (i. e. one more lap, 8 more reps, ski diving).
Are you somebody who can at least ask me why I was divorced before making a judgement about it? I'd appreciate that.

So far this online dating feels like a big meat market. I can't help but dislike judging people, and being judged, based on a few photos, a couple of paragraphs, and the ability to write a personal message to a complete stranger. Things that could hardly have anything less to do with being a great catch.

I Love to read! I am involved in the SCA a medieval re-enactment group. I am the leader of an amazing household, though I suppose I'm mostly just a figurehead and/or human shield. I love to work with my hands doing pretty much anything. I like camping, Disneyland, coffee, a wide variety of music, and when I have time, martial arts. I have lots of hobbies, Which I hope to have time for now that I'm out of school. I still have one class left to graduate, but it's not being offered til next February. I can't wait to be done!
